Bike Skills

This morning JS from Big Foot came to room 10 to give us a theory lesson about bikes. First he talked about the clothing you needed to wear when you ride your bike such as visible clothes so you can be seen on the road and closed shoes.

Next we did a bike check about the brakes, wheels, bolts and reflectors. Everyone listened carefully to these safety checks incase something bad would happen to them if they didn’t do a bike check.

Then we had a safety talk about helmets. JS gave us tips about wearing helmets and tips on cracked helmets. We had an opportunity to put on helmets and have a helmet check.

Today on sunshine online I read the book 'My Dad' and then I did the activities. The activity I did was the sizzle sentence. You can take out one word and put in another word to make your sentence funny.
