Our Safety Talk with Constable Julie

Today Constable Julie came into our class  to tell us about road safety. We did an activity on the courts. The activity was all about distance. Its was difficult to measure distances accurately because I didn't have a big enough ruler. Constable Julie helped all of us guess the correct distance. I really enjoyed it when Constable Julie  taught us about driver, vehicle and environmental safety. I learnt that the driver of the vehicle has to have his/her drivers license on them when ever they drive. I also learnt that the vehicle has to have a registration, and a W.O.F (warrant of fitness).

  1. I really like the way you have shared your 'new learning' about road safety. An opportunity of having a vehicle and a driver's licence are one of those privileges many young people take for granted. It is so encouraging to know that you are on the way to reminding others to be safe road users. Ka pai!

  3. Hi June
I really like your post about Road Safety. Maybe you could get your licence straight away and it would be weird seeing a young intimediate girl driving on the road.
