Christmas all Around the World

How do you celebrate Christmas ?
Well people all around the world celebrate Christmas differently because everyone has different ideas. I wonder what it feels like to have Christmas overseas.

My talented Friend

This is my best friend Edwina. She is very talented and smart. She always tries to prove that she can do the best of her abilities. When she is at school she tries make as many friends as she can so she can be a good role model for the younger students.

I hope she gets a good job so she can prove that she is PERFECT!!!

Avoiding hazards on the bike.

 












For the past 2 weeks the years 4, 5 and 6 have had cycle safety lessons from these talented instructors Eddie and Adrian. They taught us the safety rules. Every body was told to pull the quick release underneath the seat so the height is up to your waist .We all had to wear helmets to prevent our head from getting injured, because if you fall off your bike you might injure your head. We also learnt how to look back over your right shoulder because that's the side the road is on . To always prevent your head from injuries wear a helmet!!!

Kayaking at Howick Beach

Yesterday the year six students of Glenbrae school had the opportunity of a life time to go kayaking with the principal of Willow Bank School. She taught us how to hop in the kayak and use the oar to paddle through the water. We hope we have another chance to go kayaking.

Athletics Day

Today Glenbrae school hosted the Inter school athletics.8-10 schools were involved. All the kids tried their best in all the events. There were 5 events that the students participated but the limit for the events were 4 events because others would not have a turn. We all tried our best to achieve what we were going for unfortunately some students didn't come anywhere but at least they tried.

So why doesn't everybody have a go ?
